The compound 2-(3,5-difluoro-4′-ethylbiphenyl-4-yl)-5-ethylthiophene (PUS-2-2) is prepared analogously to Example 2 from 4′-ethyl-3,5-difluoro-4-biphenylboronic acid and 2-bromo-5-ethylthiophene.
