A mixture of 5 g of 6-[4-(1-imidazolyl)-phenyl]-5-methyl-3-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydropyridazine and 2.3 g of fumaric acid was heated in 250 ml of ethanol until the solid had all dissolved. The solution was then evaporated to dryness, and the residue was dried.
