The title compound was prepared according to the method described in Example 2, using 3,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2.15 g, 10 mmol) and (±)-trans-N-methyl-N-[2-(1-hexahydroazepinyl)cyclohexyl]amine prepared in Example 10 (2 g, 10 mmol). The crude product, which precipitated without the addition of any diethyl ether, was recrystallised from hot methanol (150 mL). Yield 3.58 g (80%).
