実験手順

A mixture of 1.72 g of 1-(2,4-dihydroxy-3-propylphenyl)ethanone, 3.43 g of [6-acetyl-3-(3-bromopropoxy)-2-propylphenoxy]acetic acid methyl ester, 2.44 g of anhydrous potassium carbonate in 50 ml of anhydrous acetone and 25 ml of anhydrous dimethylformamide was stirred at reflux for 18 hours. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was purified by high pressure liquid chromatography to give 1.45 g (33%) of [6-acetyl-3-[3-(4-acetyl-3-hydroxy-2-propylphenoxy)propoxy]-2-propylphenoxy]acetic acid methyl ester as an oil.
