0.4 g of the minoxidil of Example 1 and 0.4 g ketoconazole available from Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V., Beerse, Belgium, were added with stirring at ambient temperature and pressure into a beaker containing 4 ml of propylene glycol, 12 ml of ethanol, and 4 ml water to produce a 2% minoxidil/ketoconazole-containing solution.
