61 mg of the target compound (0.16 mmol, 33.7%) was obtained using 1-(2-methoxyphenyl)piperazine (177 mg, 0.92 mmol), 2′-chlorobiphenyl-3-carbaldehyde (100 mg, 0.46 mmol) and NaBH(OAc)3 (297 mg, 1.38 mmol) according to the synthesis method of Compound 1.
