After cooling to 10° C., 2.5N hydrochloric acid was added to make it pH~5, followed by extraction with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and concentrated in vacuo. The resultant crystals were filtered to obtain 151 g of the titled compound as yellow crystals.
