용도Uricase is very important for the determination of uric acid in biological fluids. Uricase is an important medical enzyme which can be used to determine urate in clinical analysis. The enzyme Urate oxidase (UO) catalyzes the oxidation of uric acid to 5-hydroxyisourate.

일반 설명Mice deficient in uricase develop uric acid nephropathy and diabetes insipidus which can be mitigated with recombinant uricase treatment.
