화학적 성질
a white or pale brownish yellow powder; odourless or with a faint characteristic odour. Soluble in 900 parts of water and in 500 parts of ethanol (~750 g/l) TS; very slightly soluble in ether R. small amounts of bacitracin zinc are dissolved in petroleum jelly to create antibiotic ointments.

개요Bacitracin zinc is a zinc complex of bacitracin, a polypeptide produced by the growth of an organism of the licheniformis group of Bacillus subtilis. The main components are Bacitracin A, B1 and B2.Bacitracin zinc has antibiotic activity against a variety of Gram-positive bacteria including staphylococci. The zinc complex adds stability to the component, making bacitracin zinc more stable compared to bacitracin.
용도Bacitracin zinc is a dephosphorylation of the C55-isoprenyl pyrophosphate interference for inhibition of cleavage of Tyr from Met-enkephalin with IC50 of 10 μM.
