실험 절차

2-Amino-1-(2,3,5-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-ribofuranosyl)-1H-benzimidazole (13.7 g) and 3-(3-chloropropoxy)-4-ethoxybenzaldehyde (15.3 g) were suspended in tetrahydrofuran (150 mL), and the mixture was stirred at 70° C. for 20 hours. To the stirred reaction mixture was added sodium triacetoxyborohydride (21.7 g) under ice-cooling, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 hours. To the reaction mixture was added water, and the resulting mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with brine and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel (eluent: ethyl acetate/hexane=1/3) to give the title compound (16.8 g).
