실험 절차

To a solution of 3-(4-chlorobenzyl)-2-pyrrolidinone (420 mg, 2 mmol) in dry THF (25 mL) and under N2 LAH (190 mg, 5 mmol) was added in portions with stirring over a period of a couple of minutes. The temperature was increased to 60° C. and the stirring continued for 2.5 h. The mixture was quenched with 200 μL water, 200 μL 5M NaOH and 600 μL water. The solid Li- and Al-salts were filtered off and the filtrate was evaporated to give a colourless oil (387 mg, 99%).
