A mixture of 14-2 (0.298 g, 1.05 mmol) and Pd on carbon (0.060 g) in ethanol (10 mL) was placed under 1 atm of H2 and stirred for 12 h. The solution was concentrated. The residue was purified by flash chromatography (5% MeOH in CH2Cl2) to give 14-3.
