Reaction Steps
In an analogous manner to that described in Example 3 (c), by alkylating tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-hydroxy-piperidine-1-carboxylate [Example 3 (b)] with 2-bromomethyl-3-methoxy-naphthalene there was obtained tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-(4-fluorophenyl)-3-[3-methoxy-naphthalen-2-yl-methoxy]-piperidine-1-carboxylate as a colourless resin; MS: 465 (M)+.
