Reaction Steps
In an analogous manner to that described in Example 22(l), by cleavage of the BOC group from tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-[4-(2-cyclopropylcarbonyloxy-ethyl)-phenyl]-3-naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy-piperidine-1-carboxylate using trifluoroacetic acid in methylene chloride there was obtained (3RS,4RS)-2-[4-(3-naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy-piperidin-4-yl)-phenyl]-ethyl cyclopropanecarboxylate trifluoroacetate as a white solid; MS: 430 (M+H)+.
