Reaction Steps
In an analogous manner to that described in Example 24(m), by reacting 2,2,2-trichloro-ethyl (3RS,4RS)-4-[3-(2-hydroxy-ethoxy)-phenyl]-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate with sodium isocyanate there was obtained 2,2,2-trichloro-ethyl (3RS,4RS)-4-[3-(2-carbamoyloxy-ethoxy)-phenyl]-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy)-piperidine-1-carboxylate as a colourless solid; Rf : 0.40 (SiO2, methylene chloride:methanol=9:1).
