In an analogous manner to that described in Example 34, from tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-[4-(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-phenyl]-3-[4-(2-trimethylsilanyl-ethoxymethoxy)-naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy]-piperidine-1-carboxylate via the corresponding mesylate by reaction s with 2-mercaptopyrimidine there was obtained tert-butyl (3RS,4RS)-4-{4-[2-(pyrimidin-2-ylsulphanyl)-ethyl]-phenyl}-3-[4-(2-trimethylsilanyl-ethoxymethoxy)-naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy]-piperidine-1-carboxylate as a colourless oil, which was used in the following step without further purification and characterization.
