Reaction Steps
The compound 22 (345 mg, 1 mmol) was converted to the acetal with 1,1-dimethoxycyclooctane (1.62 g, 10 mmol) in the same manner as the example 20 to give the compound 30 (66 mg, 13%). Mp 54-56° C.
