Procedure
A solution of 2-(2-aminoethylamino)thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4-yl 2-thienylmethanone (50 mg, 0.16 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL) was treated with triethylammonium methylpolystyrene carbonate (80 mg, 0.25 mmol) then isovaleryl chloride (30 mg, 0.25 mmol) and shaken at room temperature for 6 h. The reaction mixture was treated with tris-(2-aminoethyl)amine polystyrene (0.20 g, 0.75 mmol), shaken at room temperature for 16 h, treated with polystyrene methylisocyanate (0.18 g, 0.25 mmol) and CH2Cl2 (2 mL), shaken for a further 6 h then filtered and concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound (35 mg, 55%) as a yellow solid.
