The title compound was prepared from 6-chloronicotinoyl chloride and 4-ethoxy-2-nitroaniline and was obtained as a yellow solid as described in Example 1. 1H NMR (CDCl3): 11.13 (s, 1H), 9.01 (d, J=2.4, 1H), 8.82 (d, J=9.3, 1H), 8.24-8.20 (m, 1H), 7.74 (d, J=3.0, 1H), 7.51 (d, J=7.8, 1H), 7.34-7.30(m, 1H), 4.11 (q, J=6.9, 2H), 1.47 (t, J=6.9, 3H).
