4-[(6,7-Dimethoxy-4-quinolyl)oxy]-2,3-dimethyl-aniline (710 mg) was dissolved in chloroform (7 ml), and 2,4-difluorophenyl isocyanate (310 μl) was then added to the solution. The mixture was heated under reflux for one hr, and a large amount of ether was added to the reaction solution. The resultant precipitate was collected by suction filtration to give 735 mg (yield 70%) of the title compound.
