Using 5-methoxy-benzothiazole (5 mmol; Tetrahedron (1997), 53, 17029), [trans-4-(methoxy-methyl-carbamoyl)-cyclohexyl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (2.5 mmol) and 2,3-dihydro-benzo[1,4]dioxine-6-carbaldehyde (0.3 mmol) according to the same protocol as that described for example 1, steps 1.a to 1.c, the title compound was obtained as a yellowish solid (92 mg).
