Following Procedure 7 and substituting tropinone for N-carbethoxynortropinone, compound 6a was converted to the title compound. MS m/z=403.2 (M+1); 1H NMR 300 MHz (CDCl3) δ 1.2 (br s, 6H), 1.9 (m, 2H), 2.5 (s, 3H), 2.8 (m, 2H), 3.1 (m, 2H), 3.3 (m, 2H), 3.4 (br s, 2H), 3.6 (m, 4H), 7.0-7.3 (m, 7H).
