The cyclopentyl-{2-[3-(2,3-dichloro-phenyl)-2,5-dimethyl-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-7-ylamino]-ethyl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (21 mg, 0.040 mmol) was stirred for 1 hour in 2:1 ethanol/concentrated aqueous hydrochloric acid (1.5 mL), concentrated under reduced pressure, and then concentrated 2 additional times from ethanol to give the title compound (17 mg, 94%): +APcI MS (M+1)+ 418; 1H NMR (methanol-d4) δ: 7.69 (d, 1H), 7.50-7.40 (m, 2H), 6.78 (s, 1H), 4.06 (br s, 2H), 3.63 (br m, 1H), 3.42 (br s, 2H), 2.60 (s, 3H), 2.34 (s, 3H).
