Procedure
Following General Procedure C and using N-(3,5-difluorophenylacetyl)-L-alanine (from Example B2 above) and L-leucine methyl ester hydrochloride (Aldrich), the title compound was prepared as a solid. The reaction was monitored by tlc (Rf=0.5 in 9:1 CHCl3/MeOH).
