2-Adamantan-1-ylmethyl-5-phenyl-1H-pyrrole-3-carboxylic acid (Example 1, step c) (335 mg, 1.00 mmol) was reacted with 2-amino-benzoic acid methyl ester (1.51 mg, 1.00 mmol) according to the procedure of Example 1, step d to afford the product as a pale yellow solid (155 mg, 33%). 1H NMR (300 MHz, d6-DMSO) 11.32 (1H, s), 11.24 (1H, s), 8.67 (1H, d), 8.00 (1H, d) 7.60 (3H, m), 7.40 (2H, m), 7.25 (1H, t), 7.12 (1H, t), 6.83 (1H, s), 3.92 (3H, s), 2.86 (2H, s), 1.88 (3H, s), 1.55 (12H, m).
