N-[5-(2-Chloro-phenyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-isoquinolin-7-yl]2-methylpropanamide (39 mgs, 0.12 mmoles) was dissolved in dimethylacetamide (1 ml) followed by the addition of triethylamine (20 ul, 0.144 mmoles) and finally benzoyl chloride (16.7 ul, 0.144 mmoles). The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 1.5 hours and purified by C18 reverse phase automated HPLC (14 mgs, 27% yield, 100% pure, CO-AAWO0025).
