2-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-(4-nitrophenylsulfonyl)aziridine (0.276 g, 0.815 mmol) was dissolved in 8 ml of methanol and 4 ml of dichloromethane. The reaction was stirred at ambient temperature for 5 days, and then concentrated. The crude material was on a Biotage SP1 system eluting with a 5-50% linear gradient of EtOAc in hexanes to yield 231 mg of the title compound (76.5% yield).
