A sealed tube equipped with a magnetic stirrer was charged with 113f (190 mg, 0.56 mmol), 113i (215 mg, 0.56 mmol), Pd (dppf)Cl2 (47 mg, 0.056 mmol), 1.0 M NaOAc (93 mg, 1.12 mmol, 2.0 equiv), 1.0 M K3PO4 (240 mg, 1.12 mmol, 2.0 equiv), and acetonitrile (3 mL). After three cycles of vacuum/argon flush, the mixture was heated at 110° C. for 2 h. It was then filtered and the filtrate was evaporated in vacuo. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography eluting with dichloromethane/methanol (10:1, V/V) to afford 113j (300 mg, 94%) as a brown solid. LCMS: [M+H]+ 597
