To a solution of 141b (150 mg, 0.26 mmol) at room temperature in methanol (10 mL) was added sodium borohydride (29 mg, 0.78 mmol) and the resulting mixture was stirred for 30 minutes. It was quenched with water (1.0 mL) and concentrated. The residue was purified by reverse-phase prep-HPLC to afford 141 (35 mg, 23.2%).
