Reaction Steps

A mixture of 183a (160 mg, 0.31 mmol) and NaBH4 (59 mg, 1.55 mmol) in methanol (20 mL) was stirred at 20° C. for 2 h. The reaction was then quenched with water and evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by reverse-phase prep-HPLC to afford 183 (42 mg, 26%) as an off-white solid.
