A mixture of 184b (80 mg, 0.15 mmol) and NaBH4 (18 mg, 0.45 mmol) in methanol (5 mL) was stirred at 30° C. for 2 h. The mixture was quenched with water and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was extracted with ethyl acetate (3×10 mL). The combined ethyl acetate extract was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by reverse-phase prep-HPLC to afford 184 (24 mg, 35%) as a white solid. MS-ESI: [M+H]+ 529.3. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CHCl3) δ 8.73 (d, J=2.0 Hz, 1H), 8.54 (d, J=5.0 Hz, 1H), 8.29 (s, 1H), 8.14 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 2H), 8.02 (s, 1H), 7.96 (d, J=2.5 Hz, 1H), 7.37 (d, J=5.5 Hz, 1H), 4.86-4.83 (m, 1H), 4.71-4.68 (m, 1H), 4.46-4.41 (m, 1H), 4.32 (t, J=11.0 Hz, 1H), 3.85-3.81 (m, 1H), 3.74 (s, 3H), 2.99-2.94 (m, 2H), 2.81 (s, 2H), 2.61-2.51 (m, 2H), 1.30 (s, 6H).
