Tributyltin azide (0.340 mL, 1.24 mmol) was added to a solution of tert-butyl (6R,7R)-6-[(3-cyano-2-oxopyridin-1(2H)-yl)methyl]-7-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,4-oxazepane-4-carboxylate (198 mg, 0.41 mmol) in toluene (5 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at 100° C. overnight. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to give the title compound (148 mg, 0.284 mmol, 68.6%).
