Reaction Steps
To a solution of [4-chloro-5-(1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-ylmethyl)-thiazol-2-yl]-pyridin-4-ylmethyl-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (520, 126 mg, 0.000276 mol) in dichloromethane (2 mL) was added hydrogen chloride (4M in 1,4-dioxane, 2 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The reaction mixture was poured into cold sodium bicarbonate solution, extracted with ethyl acetate, washed with brine and dried over magnesium sulfate. After removal of solvents, the residue was washed with ethyl acetate to provide the desired compound as a light yellow solid (P-0168, 68.4 mg, 70%). MS (ESI) [M+H]+=356.2.
