Reaction Steps
Following the procedure of Example 5(c) 2,6-bis(4-cyano phenoxy)-nicotinic acid 1.5 g (4.20 mmol) and 4-amino-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (0.84 g, 4.20 mmol) were used to afford 1.7 g of the required product. Percentage purity (LCMS): 74.6%, (M+1)=539.2 (with BOC).
