2,6-bis(4-Cyano phenoxy)-isonicotinic acid (0.220 g, 0.61 mmol) and 4-amino-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (0.142 g, 0.71 mmol) were coupled using the procedure of Example 5(c) to afford 0.295 g of the required product. Percentage purity (LCMS): 59.4%, (M+1)=439.2+1 (with BOC). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6): δ 1.40 (9H, s), 1.81 (4H, m), 2.86 (4H, m), 3.82 (1H, m), 7.26 (2H, s), 7.34 (4H, d), 7.85 (4H, d), 8.64 (1H, d).
