Following the procedure of Example 5(c) 3,5-bis-(4-cyano-phenoxy)-benzoic acid 0.45 g (1.26 mmol) and (4-amino-cyclohexyl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (0.27 g, 1.26 mmol) were used to afford 0.52 g of the required product. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6): δ 1.31 (4H, m), 1.45 (9H, s), 1.80 (4H, m), 3.22 (1H, m), 3.68 (1H, m), 6.78 (1H, d, J=7.8 Hz), 7.24 (2H, d, J=9.6 Hz), 7.51 (2H, d, J=2.1 Hz), 7.89 (2H, d, J=8.7 Hz), 8.35 (1H, d, J=7.5 Hz).
