0.1 mmol (1-bromo-imidazo[1,2-a]quinoxalin-4-yl)-isobutyl-amine (intermediate example 2.1, 1 mL, 0.1 M in NMP), 0.15 mmol 2,3-dihydro-1,4-benzodioxin-6-ylboronic acid (0.3 mL, 0.5 M in NMP, 1.5 eq), 0.02 mmol Pd(dppf)Cl2 (0.533 mL, 0.0375M in NMP, 0.2 eq) and 0.3 mmol K2CO3 (0.3 mL, 1M in water, 3 eq) were combined in a sealed vial and heated at 130° C. under microwave irradiation for 60 min. After cooling, the solution was filtered and subjected to preparative HPLC to give 8.1 mg (22%) 1-(2,3-dihydro-1,4-benzodioxin-6-yl)-N-(2-methylpropyl)imidazo[1,2-a]quinoxalin-4-amine. UPLC-MS: RT==1.26 min; m/z (ES+) 375.4 [MH+]; required MW=374.4.
