A 250-mL single-neck round-bottomed flask equipped with a magnetic stirrer was charged with 111e (2.6 g, 10.2 mmol) and MeOH (50 mL), and the resulting mixture was added Pd/C (10%) (260 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred under H2 for 15 h. After the reaction was finished, it was filtered and concentrated to afford 111f, which was used in the next step without purification.
