22.2 g of phosphorus pentachloride were added to a suspension of the product obtained in step (b) in 300 ml of dry chloroform. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 h. Then another 22.2 g of phosphorus pentachloride were added and the reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 4 h. After cooling to room temperature, the precipitate was filtered off, washed with a little dichloromethane and dried to give 30.2 g of the crude title compound.
