Procedure
In 350 ml of water was dissolved 24 g of sodium hydrosulfide and 34.5 g of 7-chloro-2-methoxymethyl-5-methyl-s-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine was added thereto, and the mixture was stirred at 55° C. for one hour. After the reaction mixture was filtered, it was ice-cooled and adjusted to pH 1 with addition of a 2N-hydrochloric acid. The precipitates were collected by filtration, washed with water and with isopropanol, and dried to obtain 30.18 g of the title compound.
