Procedure

To a solution of 70 mg of the compound of Example 14 dissolved in 10 ml of dioxane was added 111 mg (3 equivalents) of 1-(2-pyrimidinyl)piperazine, and the mixture heated under reflux for 8 hours. The reaction treatment and purification were conducted in the same manner as in Example 17 to obtain 77.0 mg of the desired compound (yield 87%). The maleate was obtained by converting the product to maleate, followed by recrystallization from methylene chloride-ether.
