0.1 g of ethyl (4-{4-[5-(4-fluorobenzyl)[1,3,4]oxadiazol-2-ylcarbamoyl]phenyl}cyclohexyl)acetate (0.21 mmol, 1 eq.) and 0.036 g of lithium hydroxide hydrate (0.86 mmol, 4 eq.) are dissolved in 4 mL of a 2/1/1 mixture of tetrahydrofuran/methanol/water cooled to 4° C. using an ice bath. The reaction medium is stirred for 4 hours at room temperature. The solvents are evaporated off and an aqueous solution of SO2 is added. The solid obtained is filtered off, washed with water and dried to give 0.05 g of (4-{4-[5-(4-fluorobenzyl)[1.3.4]oxadiazol-2-ylcarbamoyl]phenyl}cyclohexyl)acetic acid.
