Reaction Steps
85 mg of tert-butyl 4-[4-(5-benzyl[1.3.4]thiadiazol-2-ylcarbamoyl)phenyl]cyclohexanecarboxylate (0.18 mmol, 1 eq.) are placed in 1 mL of dichloromethane. 1 mL of trifluoroacetic acid (13.46 mmol, 76 eq.) is added and the reaction medium is stirred for 3 hours at room temperature. The solvents are evaporated off and the residue is taken up in ethyl acetate and ethanol to give, after filtration, 30 mg of 4-[4-(5-benzyl[1.3.4]-thiadiazol-2-ylcarbamoyl)phenyl]cyclohexanecarboxylic acid.
