Reaction Steps
Following the procedure used to prepare 1-(2,6-dimethoxy-pyridin-3-yl)-3-phenyl-prop-2-yn-1-ol, 2,3-dimethoxy-pyridine-4-carbaldehyde was reacted to give the title compound (1.08 g, 86%) as a white solid. LCMS (Method A): RT=4.11 min, [M+H]+=270.
