Reaction Steps
2-[5-(5-Aminopyridin-2-yloxy)-2,3-dihydroindol-1-yl]-1-(4-benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-ylmethylpiperazin-1-yl)ethanone (0.240 g, 0.492 mmol) was dissolved in THF (10 mL). To the solution were added triethylamine (0.0686 mL, 0.492 mmol), then 3,4-dichlorobenzoyl chloride (0.103 g, 0.492 mmol), and the resulting solution was stirred for 30 minutes at room temperature. Brine (50 ml) was added to the reaction solution, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate (50 mL). After the organic layer was washed with brine, then dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, the solvent was evaporated. The obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (CH2Cl2:MeOH=40:1), to yield 0.143 g of the title compound as a grayish white powder.
