According to the method described in example 4.3, starting from 4.95 g (16.7 mmol) of [3-(benzyloxy)-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]boronic acid and 3.88 g (16.72 mmol) of methyl 6-bromo-5-hydroxypyridine-2-carboxylate, we obtain 4.38 g of methyl 6-[3-(benzyloxy)-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-5-hydroxypyridine-2-carboxylate in the form of a white solid.
