Procedure

[1-(5-methyl-4H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-yl)-cyclopropyl]-carbamic acid benzyl ester (57 mg, 0.21 mmol) was dissolved in MeOH (5 ml), followed by the addition of 10% Pd/C (20 mg). The reaction mixture was stirred under H2 balloon for 1.5 h. The reaction mixture was filtered through celite. The solvent was concentrated under high vacuum pump to afford 30 mg of 1-(5-methyl-4H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-yl)-cyclopropylamine, m/z 139.6 [M+1]+.
