To a solution of (R)-5-(4-cyanobenzyl)-7-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-5-methyl-6-oxo-6,7-dihydro-5H-imidazo[1,2-a]imidazole-3-carboxylic acid [4-(1-pyridin-2-yl-cyclopropylcarbamoyl)-piperidin-4-yl]-amide (20 mg, 0.03 mmol) in pyridine (0.5 mL) was added acetic anhydride (0.5 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 h. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the remaining residue was dissolved in water and extracted with CH2Cl2 (3×10 mL). The organic layer was washed with brine and dried over Na2SO4. After removal of the solvent in vacuo, the title compound was obtained as a white solid (21 mg), m/z 725.5 [M+1]+.
