Reaction Steps
(5,5-Dimethyl-8-nitro-2-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-1-benzazepin-3-yl)-carbamic acid methyl ester was prepared from 3-Amino-5,5-dimethyl-8-nitro-1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1-benzazepin-2-one and Methyl chloroformate in an analogous manner to Example 1271d. Title compound is an off white solid. (94 mg, 38%) LCMS 308 (M+H).
