Procedure

A mixture of EXAMPLE 329B (0.070 g), 2-(tributylstannyl)thiazole (0.090 g), and tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) (0.069 g) in dioxane (2 mL) was heated at 90° C. for 4 hours. After cooling, the mixture was loaded onto a silica gel column and eluting with 1:3 ethyl acetate:hexanes to give the title compound.
